BOSTON — The NBA’s preseason preseason preview series is back and the first game is Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.
With the preseason schedule kicking off Friday, we’ve picked out the games that we believe are most likely to happen, and we’ll break down their storylines and personalities as well.
We’ll also preview the team that might have the most impact in the regular season.
We’ll start off with the Celtics, who will be playing the Warriors for the first time in the preseason and will face the second-year Warriors with the preseason No. 1 seed.
This will be the second preseason game between the two teams.
The Celtics won 105-104 in Boston on March 12, 2016.
The Warriors lost 95-93 to the Celtics on March 4.
Boston has lost its last five preseason games, losing at Indiana on March 13 and to the Clippers on March 11.
The Celtics have lost five games in a row to the Hawks and Cavaliers, who are currently tied for the NBA’s worst record.
The Warriors, meanwhile, have a 2-1 record in the last six preseason games.
They won 103-88 over the Knicks on March 1.
