A man has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the death of a long-term drinking victim in a Queensland hospital.

“He’s being interviewed by detectives from the Major Crime Squad and they’re doing their best to ascertain what has happened,” Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Jones said.
“We’ve received information about the attack from the public and we’ll continue to follow up and speak to the person who’s in charge of this case.”
