A long-awaited new tourist attraction is on its way to the islands main tourist destination.
It’s the Smith island light, which will open to the public from March 31.
The new attraction is expected to cost between $150 and $200, depending on how many people go.
The light is expected be located in the island’s south-west at a site that is a popular spot for weddings, parties and other events.
It is being built by a consortium of the US, New Zealand and Australia, which is run by Australia’s tourism giant, Tourism New Zealand.
The island is famous for its coral reef, and for its beaches.
The tour will include a guided tour of the light, a visit to the harbour and an interactive area with activities such as fishing, snorkelling and kayaking.
The company behind the light is looking for people who would like to learn more about the island and its history.
“There are a lot of people who don’t know much about Smith, so it’s a great opportunity for people to come and explore the island, and have a good time,” Tourism New Zealander Mark Scott said.
He hopes people will be drawn in by the view from the light.
“It’s a really exciting time to be a visitor to Smith.
There’s so much that’s happening on the island.
You can see it from many different perspectives, which are quite beautiful,” he said.
The guidebook will show people the island from different perspectives.
Tourism New Zealand’s marketing director, James Whitehead, said the attraction was a way to bring people to the island for a “dramatic day out”.
“It is a fantastic way to go on a day trip and to see the island at a time when it is really well known,” he told the ABC.
Tourist arrivals have increased on the islands popularity, particularly in the past two years, and this year the Tourism New York Times ranked Smith as one of the best attractions in the world.
Tourists can take advantage of a discount rate on Smith Light tickets if they book online.
